Expedition 2012, Peru
Week 1
Working with the jungle medicine for 4 nights, we will also learn about the jungle eco system and hopefully swim with the pink dolphins. We will visit the manatee rescue facility, butterfly preservation facility, visit 3 different tribes, do midnight walks to explore the life of the jungle when it is truly alive, in darkness. We will also enjoy an overnight in Iquitos and explore the city and the crafts, fisihing villages, and the night life...on the river.
Cost: $1800.
Week 2
Working and camping in the sacred lagoons of northern peru, working with the desert plants for 3-4 nights. We will also visit the sacred sites of the pre Inca, people, visit the many pyramids, the temple of the sun, the temple of the moon, the place of Sipan, as well as enjoy the life on the ocean, including surfing on reed boards/boats. They have great shrimp there too!
Cost:$1800.
Week 3
Returning to Cuzco, visit the sites of our tradition, Pisac, The Sacred Valley, Macchu Picchu, and hiking the sacred Apu of Walkay Wilkie. We will be camping also. We will visit all the sites we are still allowed to create ceremony in.
Cost: $1500.
Price is based on 15 person participation

INCLUSIONS:
Transportation throughout by private motor coach, boat, and train to Machu Picchu. All Hotel accommodations based on double or triple occupancy
Continental breakfasts in all hotels.
All airport transfers and baggage handling in Puno and Cuzco.
All entrance fees to archeological sites as outlined in program.
Services of Pachamama Healing Center, tour leader and staff at specific sites.
Local and return fight reconfirmation, airport check-in, luggage assistance.
Camping includes mountain guide, gourmet camp cook, porters, pack horses, all camping equipment, 2 person tents, all meals, first aid kit.
EXCLUSIONS
:
Meals specified in the detailed itinerary of the tour. US domestic, Intetnational or fights within Peru.
Departure taxes. Transfers for independent arrival otdeparture. Items of a personal nature (liquor, laundry, toiletries, phone calls, etc.)
Single supplement charge, if requested. If camping: Sleeping bag, sleeping mats, and other personal gear.

Single Supplement: $345.00
Cancellations and refunds:
If you must cancel the journey, your deposit will be refunded in full less a $1000.00 cancellation fee if written cancellation is received 60 days before the program departure.
Thereafter, all refunds are limited to amounts recoverable from boat and land operators. No refunds will be given for unused accommodations or services.
Insurance:
We recommend you obtain insurance to cover yourselves and your luggage with short-term travelers insurance available through any travel agent or on line.
Baggage is carried entirely at owner's risk.
Pachamama Healing Center assumes no liability whatsoever for damage, delay or loss of property.
Responsibilities:
Pachamama Healing Center (PHC) reserves the right to accept or reject any person a participant at any time, and to make changes in the itinerary whenever deemed necessary for the comfort, convenience, and safety of the participants, and to cancel a program at any time.
In the event a program is canceled PHC shall have no responsibility beyond the refund of moneys paid to it by program participants as listed.
By registering, the participant is aware that during the expedition, workshop, trip, activity or program (herein “Activity”) I am participating in through Pachamama Healing Center, (PHC) and arrangements made by the PHC, certain risks may occur.
These risks include, but are not limited to, the hazards of traveling at high attitudes, on rivers and waterways, hiking, mountain climbing, retreats, forces of nature, travel by air, automobile, bus, boat and other conveyance, loss of or damage to personal property, injury or fatality due to high altitudes, collision with vehicle, boat, rock, log, or tree, or offshore the capsizing of a boat or other vessel, accident or illness in a remote place without medical facilities, water damage due to leaking bags or other containers, exposure to temperature extremes and inclement weather, and other risks and dangers which may result in serious injury or death.
In consideration of, and as part of payment for the right to participate in the Activity and the services arranged through the PHC, the participant assumes all risks, and voluntarily release and waive all claims against the PHC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives, and will hold them harmless from any and all liability, action, cause of action, debts, negligence, claims, demands and damages of every kind or nature whatsoever, whether direct or indirect, contingent, consequential or otherwise, arising out of, related to, or which may be brought by myself or a third party in connection with my participation in the Activity or any other activities arranged by, through, or with the PHC.
This agreement shall serve as a release, assumption of risk and hold harmless provision for me, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, and all members of my family, including any minors. I have read and agree to these terms and conditions. The Pachamama Healing Center will rely on this release in allowing me to participate in these activities.
